Gopher State Politics Institute is a conservative, political think tank based in St. Paul, Minnesota. The founder, Robert L. “Bob” Smith III has a strong passion for promoting a fiscally responsible tax policy for Minnesota residents and businesses. After seeing generations of Minnesotans exiting their home state for more favorable tax environments, Bob decided Minnesota needed a strong advocate to stop the mass exodus!
The Gopher State Politics Institute is an independent, stand-alone entity. It is not affiliated with any organization, educational institution, or association. The Institute does not solicit or accept funding.
